No matter how odd formed the root is you can dig it right by just taking a little time to do it.

No matter how large the root is you can dig it right and without breaking apart the joing root system by just taking a little time to do it this root was six ounces and over 60 yrs old well worth the time and effort to do a good job.

Coondog, I do have a dealers permit, but have not bought yet. I got it so I could sell some roots out of state if the need was there.

Nice roots Billy, what is the fluid in the jar w/ that root? I sill haven't decided to sell this root or preserve it.

That is a beautiful root maya it is hard to find a root that toped that many seasons. If that was mine it would be in a jar just because of the steam alone....You can use 100 proof Vodka and it does a fine job it will on and on preserve the root also a less exspensive way is to use alohol it works just the same but you couldnt sell the root to someone to eat,the vodka is how most people store it for later consumption....according to your purpose brother....
