wild ginseng price 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hi from Pennsylvania,

I have about 6 pounds of dried wild ginseng roots, around 10-12 years old. I have talked to few ginseng dealers here in Pennsylvania and got some mixed prices. Does anyone know or suggest that what the fair price for my dried wild ginseng roots this time?? What is the wild ginseng price in 2008??

-Steve

As of early of 2008, wild ginseng price is about $1000/lb dried depends on their qualities but anywhere between 10-12 years should fetch around that price. My suggestion is to call around..even out of state dealers as well. Before you sell them, make sure you certified them to meet the wild ginseng regulations. The price for woods-grown is between $350-$500, wild-cultivated ginseng should fetch around from $700 to close to wild price..but it all depends on what kind of quality ginseng roots you've got. The "quality" often means the age of ginseng. Hope this helps!
