if dealers here dont mark up the price, how did the price go from 450 range to over 2000 a pound rite on this site and others.check the price here and you will see!!

on wildgrowen.com look at the upper left under ginseng shop and u will see wild kentucky ginseng at over $1000 for 8 oz.and the going price being paid for kentucky ginseng is at what?$400-$500

I was reading over the items in that section and the first one said it could be used as a "gilf". Hmm... Im not familiar with that but I wonder if that could be anything like a milf

wild 8oz for $1099.95
wild 1lb for $2199.90
I'm only getting 500.00max per pound here in wisconsin...

The price they get per pound is greater than what you think!
All those $2000/per pound roots get pruned and cleaned up, the consumer wants a chunky root without limbs and rootlets, so everything that is removed becomes an added income.We as pickers donot account for the extras in our pricing.
This is just the tip of the ice burg.
