What's a good protocol for taking Siberian Ginseng over the long term? 2 Years, 9 Months ago
I've tried siberian ginseng tea and capsules and found it to help immensly/with my energy/adrenal fatigue and general mood. However, too much can overstimulate me and I've read in a chinese medicine book that it should not be taken for more than 6 weeks at a time, that it's basically a short term tonic.

Therefore, should I cycle it 1 month on, 1 month off? or perhaps take it just every second day? what would be a good protocol. I've currently got a liquid extract form but have not tried it yet.

I'm naturally a hyper-sensitive person so I generally take less than the prescribed amount to be sage. I certainly don't want to overstimulate my stressed-out adrenals further but I understand when used properly, this herb helps strengthen them. It does seem to help
