Fall Seed Planting Complete 5 Months, 1 Week ago
It is starting to get hard for me to find places to even put seed anymore, being I only have four acres that is woods. So I got two ounces from Rural Action and two ounces from Tuckasegee Valley Ginseng (Scott Persons). Both supplier's seeds had plenty smiling seeds. Scott's were a lighter color and almost all from Rural Action were nearly black with very white smiles. Very anxious to see the outcome of both. The way both companies' seeds were smiling tells me they were definitely stratified and not green.

The timing couldn't have been more perfect. Got the seeds yesterday from both suppliers and while I was planting them the rain came in dropping over an inch of rain. I was soaked, but so were the seeds I planted. A lot of leaves dropped afterward from the heavy rains. Now the wait.

On another subject; I knew seng turned yellow at fall but this is the first I had seen the leaves turn a reddish color.

I will never understand how to post two different pics in one post.
