Anything with permission sounds like a reasonable approach to me. I have often found myself glaring a the mountains of WV on my way heading south to FL. I would much rather be able to park the car and head into the mountains to sang hunt than driving all the way to the ocean on vacation. Family thinks I am nuts but if I was allowed I would trade a week in the mountains for a week on the beach any day.
So I understand where you are coming from 100%.
