TOPIC: 2012 season has begun!

Maya way to go with the digging! Nice root! Boy I hope we all get to go the first day or so. It looks like ole Isaac is going to interfere with the first couple of days for us in TN, KY, WV and maybe other places. I just wish nature would give us a break every now and then. It's bad enough that half of the sengin' country got burned up and now this. I am sore as a boil about this. I get about 10 days to go and this weather is cutting into some serious relaxation time I need in the woods.

Here's a look at where Ive been digging. Not a lot left yesterday but I dug another 8 in the 15-30yo range.

Things have really slowed up for me. The area I am working is very big and very steep. I know it's just a matter of time before I get into a good area but it's been frustrating the last couple of days. One here and one there. We'll keep going though!

This dandy one was about 20 yo.

Dug some real nice root this morning, here's a couple pics.The two closest were both about an oz.

Nice lookin root Maya! Keep it up. It's always good to see what you've dug. As a dealer I often get to see stuff that just isn't as high of quality of what you dig. Very nice my friend.
