Ok guys here is video no# 2 for the 2013 season

I go on a hunt today with me and the good Lord and we have a blast in his wonderful Mountains.
I can not wait to explore this new ground closer with the boys as soon as we can.

Excellent video Billy and congrats on the really big Ginseng you found! I would be that that big 4 prong towards at min 2:30 in the video with the extremely long berry pod shoot (stem) was getting ready to graduate to something bigger than a 4 prong. Did you measure the berry pod shoot (stem)? It appears to be 14 to 16 inches long or longer! Thanks for sharing!

Awesome looking stuff Billy, the good Lord blessed you with a good spot again. I truly believe those that respect the woods and steward ginseng correctly are always rewarded nicely.

WOW Billy,
What a find. Haven't found a new spot like that in such a long time. Hard to get permission here in Ohio on Private Land. State land is both a no no and already poached in most cases IMHO.
Still believe there are some majestic old plants tucked away here and there tho in Ohio.
Way to go Billy. Love your videos and pics.
Thanks,
Latt

I'd get the permits and sell that those things right on Alibaba. Those roots are worth thousands in China.

Guys I been real busy and did not yet get to post any of that last hunt.

I had found some of the biggest plants the day that I found that spot.
Once we got back into that spot we still dug very well and there was a
few big ones left.

This batch of root was just over 2 pounds and all of the roots are good ones.
We left 100`s of 3 leafs and 2 prongs in those woods.

Billy.
