GROWING SENG POEM
Planted seed some time ago
Some came up, some no show
Some are growing, cannot hide them
Fearing deer and man will find them
2 prongs here, 3 prongs there
Some spots thrive, some spots bare
Green berries push towards the sky
Will soon turn red, fall off and dye
Some seeds get lucky, get covered by leaves
Only to grow and get dug by thieves
Once in a while some will make it
4 prongs someday, then I may take it
Even tho it may not pay
I'll plant more seed soon someday
Thoughts of planting something that last
Could still be here after I pass
