Thanks carl, It looks as though the big rain is not going to get here till early next week now. So I'm sharpening my machete for tomorrow morning, lol. I'm with you I hope folks are able to ride this thing out without to much damage or loss of life. Hope you get in there and dig a bunch soon!
Beautiful Seng 44! Wow! We don't have Mountains around here where I live just hills. The Seng on those Mts is so much bigger than what we get. I very seldom ever see a berry pod above the plant. I'm so happy for you on having a great season brother!
Thanks guys!, looks like y'all are having a great harvest as well, great to see!. We were very fortunate to have good rainfall this past summer all the way up to start of season. It really does make all the difference. Well fellas I got up this morning to a beautiful sunrise, and thought man I'm just gonna get in there and make a day of it. Boy was I wrong, lol. I tell you it takes a lot to drive me out of the woods, but today the humidity was unbearable! I hunted for about 2 hours and thought I was going to die in there my shirt I bet weighed 10lbs just soaked! I've never in my life experienced the kind of humidity as I did today. I managed about 9 oz before I threw in the towel. From now on not only will I check for rain, but also heat and humidity, lol.
