TOPIC: A little weekend trip

I just returned on a weekend trip to the Smokey Mountain National Forest and meeting up with my good friend Hugh Hartsell.... I was also happy to discover a little Ginseng in my wanderings up there.

-Good luck with your seed, Hugh. I hope they suit ya and work well for your purpose.Maybe my boy and I can come back soon and help you plant a few.

It was good to get to meet you, and family, and friends in person. Sometimes the weather just doesn't cooperate and we didn't get to look over all the places that I would have like to have shown you. That picture that you have of you and your son is part of the beauty I have enjoyed all of my life. East Tennessee is a great place and the beauty is beyond comparison. After yesterday, there will be a lot more ginseng growing I hope you guys can make it back up soon. We'll have a flyrod in that young man's hand on a beautiful stream when you can.

Lol, quite an enjoyable little spot it was. I'm glad my girlfriend thought to take a picture of that.It was a little chilly but some waters are just meant to be waded in.

Absolutely beautiful. My wife and I are looking for a place for retirement and Tennessee is on the list.

Very nice looking photo. A while back I spent some time exploring the Nantahala River NC headwaters area. Looked for some ginseng but didn't see any. I did find and video some beautiful scenery.

Beautiful scenery,and great photography! The video seemed to have some problems as it was hanging in multiple places.

I have a request Mark. One of my favorite groups is the Civil Wars. I would love to see a video similar to this one made and for you to use \"the Violet Hour\" as the backdrop music, if they allow that. It's on YouTube, if you are not familiar
with it.
