TOPIC: Market for wild ginger

I have been scouting for ginseng and I found some wild ginger. I was wondering if there is any market for the wild ginger.

Some root buyers will buy wild ginger, but the price is usually around 2 bucks a dry pound. Looks like it would take a lot to make a pound to me, but I've never tried. Good Luck!

So ginger is worth almost nothing.

Has anyone tried transplanting wild ginger ? Is it a good companion plant for ginseng ? I found some ginger recently. It was growing at an elevation of 1150 feet.

Excellent companion plant for ginseng in woodland gardens. I used to have some growing with mayapple, ginseng and some others between my porch and a small garden pond.
