Growing wild ginseng in Mariposa, Ca 15 years 5 months ago #840

Rob Topic Author Visitor	I have 10 acres in Mariposa, elevation 3300'. It is pine, live oak a little white oak and lots of manzanita trees. This is a very interesting question because, I have heard that ginseng doesn't grow west of the Mississippi river. I do not know if that is true or not, and even if it is true, is it because the river was a natural bearer and no body tried it on the other side or, because there is a different reason.

I wish I had an answer for you but, I do not. I will be interested to see if anyone else can help with this.
