You are right. . It's neurotoxic , its toxins are soluble in water, do don't drink its soup if you can resist it:laugh:

Hi everyone, I am Scott and have been Latt's friend for years. Above are exmples of amanita muscaria, though not deadly toxic, DO NOT eat anything you are unfamiliar with without consulting an expert. These do have psychoactive compounds but who wants to tempt fate. The woods are full of Amanita Bisporegous in Ohio a close relative of the death angel, though much whiter than it's equally deadly counterpart. It was a pleasure walking with Latt yesterday and checking his \"seng\" and then really finding some choice edibles. Chanterelles, Black trumpets, various boletes etc. Thanks all been lurking for a long time. If you like I can start a couple threads on wild summer edibles? I love this board, though I don't grow ginseng, I sure love it's effects.
