TOPIC: Berry Care

Berry Care 14 years 5 months ago #2891

Does anyone have experience or recommendations on how to care for a few berries (a couple of plants worth) that I took yesterday off of some 3 prongers?

I am looking for a way to stratify them I guess but only a handful, I heard you could put them in the freezer for a couple of months.

Any thoughts or recommedations?

Thanks,

Stephen

Small amount of seed can be stratified in a round margarine tub or along that idea, drill small holes top n bottom. Add sand then seed then sand and berry for a year in an area suitable to plant. Don't forget were you put it a foot or two off and you lost em.
