TOPIC: Older roots

Older roots 7 years 6 months ago #39037

I would like to purchase about 5 or 6 big older mature roots from someone from Tenn, Kentucky, to PLANT in
the north Alabama woods. I have a nice spot with some existing seng.

jaybird,

Back in 2010 I started my seed producing bed and I put 40 or so very nice older mature roots in the bed. I am in Southern Middle TN. These roots I dug in my area.

I also purchased 5 very nice mature KY wild ginseng roots from Billy Taylor to put in my seed producing bed, to mix up the genes a little.

They have been very good producers, and his KY ginseng has much taller berry stems than my middle TN roots do.

Below is a youtube that Billy did showing when they collected two of those roots.

Billy post here on this board occasionally still... I would highly recommend him as a source for seed bed roots.

Do a google search on taylorsginseng and you will find him.

Good Luck
