Whitjr

Just wondering what you did with the seeds that germinated from test #1?

You could plant them in the ground, being very careful to not break off the root.

Looking forward to the results of test #2.

Whitjr, are most of the seeds already open when you start the test? How about the last time when you got 90%? Were they already open or did they open during your test? Thanks.

ClassicFur- I planted the test batch from #1. I figured that since these tried so hard... they deserved it!

Newsing- None of the seed from batch #1 were open when I started the test. All germinated seed opened within 6 days of test initiation.

Batch two had many many seeds that were open already when I first opened the package. I took this as asign of a great batch of seed...

Tabled results to follow, probally Monday /Tues.

Test #2 results are in-

I used the same method as in test #1

a random sample of 100 seeds were taken from one lb of freshly received seed from Larry Harding's operation.

Included in the random sample were seed that had already opened and had \"tails.\"

==5 day germination results:

59% germination rate

==6 days yielded a 68% germination rate.

all are going in the ground today behind my home in the patch I put in there.
