I heard the dry market is going to be in the tank this year, the exporters want as much green seng as possible and starting green prices for the good northern in Minnesota/Iowa/Wisconsin is $170+

well ive talked to only two guys..the guy didn't think the dry market wouldn't be to bad but not a bullish market either..400 a pound is a 100 bucks higher than they started it out here last year..but he also said he thought it would be a slow move up in prices for dry, thinking it will be around 550 by xmas...he is starting the green root out at 130 a pound..

I spoke with one of my buyers yesterday as well. He seemed to be more optimistic about the market than he was last year. Told me that he was going to open up green price at $160/pound and thinks he will open the dry up in a few weeks in the area of $500/pound.
