TOPIC: NC High Country Seng 2016

Re:NC High Country Seng 2016 7 years 6 months ago #39499

As you can see most of these are in the middle of head high stinging weed, this is the place I always go at the end of the year after the stinging weed has died down a little because it is almost impossible to find earlier in the year.

Couple of my favorite roots of the day. Not sure if I'll get back out again this year or not, but I may give it another shot this weekend and see what it looks like since there was so many green plants still. I should be at around 3 and a quarter pounds or so when all mine dries, so not a bad year, better than last year at least, now if prices will just improve. As little excitement as there has been on the forum this year you would think there ain't as much seng being dug or maybe it's because the tv shows are finally gone, maybe we can finally quit hearing about this flooded market sometime soon.
