TOPIC: Northern Ohio

Is it worth time to hunt in northern part of Ohio?Have stumbled on to seng in southern and central part of the state .But have'nt spent time lookin close to home,here in the north.Would it be a waste of time?Have some plants started in pots here,but the ones I planted in the woods near here did'nt come up.

Northern Ohio is great as long as you are in the right woods with the right conditions just like anywhere in Ohio.
Transplanting ginseng can be tricky to a beginner. However, if you are use to digging and transplanting roots it might be due to some other reason like poor soil, slugs, deer, turkey, mice, canopy Shade % or disease?????
