TOPIC: so excited. one root with two tops!

This root had 3 four prong tops all 3 had big pods of berrys in them

Billy yours beats all of ours for sure. Bet you were excited to find that one. Btw i love your videos. And the season here started August 15 if im not mistaken. I dig all my roots on private land near my house. Tons of ginseng. So fortunate to have the access to acres of woods right behind my house. Theres a few that are so beautiful i can't bring myself to digg them. Haha

Boys,here near me found a patch about all had 2 tops . I brought many home and transplanted . All there seed produce 2 tops . I still get excited I see many 4 prongs growing together.I like to see the stem the size of a pencil. Good luck !

A root we found 2006 2 tops weighed 6 ounces

Real nice root. Nice and chunky and has character.

Multiple tops are more common in commercial operations because of the fertilizing they do. I've seen it a time or two...but not often.

...that three topper is a beautiful plant for sure!

congrats on your find!! i went out this morning for a couple of hours and found a single root with three (4 prong) tops, ill try to post a pic tomorrow
