I dug in two hollows last Tuesday and someone else had already been there. Found some 3 leaf 2 prongs that had been dug... Hate that.

He missed a bunch of nice 3 prongers that I got though :-)

Hobbler... bueatiful 4 prong, and love that long berry stem. Don't see that around here (the long berry stem). Our berry stems hardly ever reach higher than the leaf sets.

Looks like that one was still nice and green. I have been finding some yellow ones already down here - I think because of the dry weather... not the temp.

This season we all love will be over before you know it. Keep at it, even when you are tired, your feet are sore, you got briar scratches, tick bites and poison ivy...

I was surprised to c it still nice n green as most r turning light green to yellow. Leaves r changing quick with nights in the 40 now. I have 3 more walks planed then I got to put up the walking stick n pick up the chainsaw.
