Well today was my largest success to date. I started digging this year, and have not had much luck until today. I hunted for 3 and a half hours and pulled up 16.2 ounces with ease. The seng was dug on a East facing slope in a few successive coves. What was weird about this seng is that none of the plants themselves were all that large(most all 3 prongs) but a couple had 1 ounce roots on them. I have found other plants the same size with tiny roots on them. It's all about the soil I guess. By the way this dirt was as fluffy as a pile of cotton candy...real easy to dig. Hope you all are having the same luck out there.
