TOPIC: pics of my last hunt this year

Here are a few pics of my last evening. hopefully this will work right

Nice to find a few good ones still standing here right at the end.

They do look sweet with the leaves all yellowed out like that - and hey a nice pod of berries for planting. Nothing wrong with that.

I found a big old 3 prong yesterday but what caught my attention was the berry pod not the leaves. It only had one prong left on the stem but had a big wad of red berries stickig up there with it. If the berries had not been there I am sure I would have missed it.

I found 5-6 nice 3 prongs and they were all yellow, and one nice 4 prong that was yellow and also found one root that had 2 - 3 prong tops.

I need 3 more wild roots to finish up planting my seed producing bed - may get out and take one more hunt this morning and see if I can collect those.

yeah, i've got some berries saved from my hunting this year i'm gonna plant.

i'd like to get some started right around the house here, up the holler. Just let it come up and once it get's mature, start planting even more around the hillside.

I think it's a beautiful plant and money for the roots is like icing on the cake.

I love to find those big yellows with a pod of berries like that,congrats.

thanks, wish i had more to show but season was kinda short this year and i don't pack my camera all the time. Guess i need to though
