Had a pretty good hunt yesterday, only went for a couple of hours, ended up with 12oz's finally got to hunt down low on a mountain i've been checking out, ran into a nice patch, found some nice old roots, I will post a pic soon as i get it uploaded, found a total of 7 nice 4 prongs in/near the patch. was some old sang.

not good, any hard rain or hard winds, will end whats left. Only 10% have leaves and there all very fragile.

And a super job of getting those extra long roots out without breaking em.

Takes some patience to get those long ones out without damaging them.

when I get on those big roots or long haired ones I whip out a straight deer antler tine that is about 9 inches long. What I found over the years is that horn, wont gough or tear those roots, and seems to work really well getting in to rocks I cant move. Just a little trick that really works well for me
