Hey Billy,

In this day in age it is rare to find someone who will actually go out of their way to help out someone else. Most won't even help their neighbor much less someone they only know by talking to now and then online.

I was hoping a big hard working guy like you could find something you would like to eat at Outback Steak House. I know I sure can and my wife likes it there too.

You went out of your way to help me out, and most certinly deserve to recieve something a little extra.

I hope you and your wife have a good time in Knoxville and enjoy some good food and time spent together.

Thanks Again !

Hey Billy,

Glad you had a good meal at OutBack !

On the seed bed - I transplanted 44 roots into the bed and this year 42 of those roots sent up tops.

I hope the other two will next year.

I am very pleased with those results.

All 5 of the roots you got for me sent up tops this year.

I remembered that you said that there was something special about one of those top wise and looked for it as they were emerging but did not see it.

I planted them in rows across the bed with 4 in the bottom row and then 3 in the next row up, then 4 again then 3 again - like that until I got up to the top.

In the rows that I only planted 3 roots I put your mountain roots in the middle of those 3. That way they would have a little more room and they would be spaced out right down the middle of my bed for good cross pollination with my local seng plants.

The 5 that you got for me came up this year as 3 were 4 prongs and 2 were 3 prongs.

Here is a pic of each of those 5 that I just took a few minutes ago.

On a couple of them (the 3rd and 5th ones above) something odd happened with the leaves this year. It is sort of like they just did not fully develop as they were unfolding.

Could be that with all of the digging up, shipping and replanting that there was a bit of damage to the bud. Next year they may be back to normal.

I am very happy with all of them.

Here is a pic of the entire bed...
