TOPIC: dorment roots

does a ginseng plant come up every year, had a person tell me a plant only comes up every 3 years. is that true

nope not true.there are times that it will go dormant though.

It doesnt always sprout every year. I found a hole in the ground a few weeks ago with 4 BIG 4-prongs sticking out of it, but caB) me up with 7 or 8 big roots.
