TOPIC: Drying Ginsen

Being new to senging: We harvested on 9/11/11. The roots have been drying inside a building since then. We read that you should soak before drying. If this is so, is it to late to soak them?

I have never heard of soaking ginseng roots before drying them, and I would not soak them for sure now that you have started the drying process.

If the roots are not real dirty I would'nt worry about it to much. If they are give them a quick rinse with a low pressure spray and fan dry the moisture off of them quickly.
