TOPIC: Legality of sellling roots online?

I notice on ebay/amazon that people are selling all sorts of different dried roots: blue cohosh, goldenseal, bloodroot, even nettle root. I understand with ginseng there are laws about selling roots across state lines, but what about other roots?

For instance, I believe with processed roots, i.e. manufactured in a power or pill form etc, you must be prepared to demonstrate good manufacturing processes per FDA guidelines. Are there certain labeling requirements that must be satisfied for dry root sale? Thanks,
