TOPIC: Persons/Beyfuss speaking at VA Coal Festival

Persons/Beyfuss speaking at VA Coal Festival 13 years 3 weeks ago #9417

I got an email last week advertising the Virginia Coal Festival in Castlewood, VA May 20-21st. Scott Persons and Bob Beyfuss are each speaking Friday and Saturday morning. I'm not sure how many folks on here are within striking distance, but I plan to attend. For details, see cnre.vt.edu/forestupdate/calendar/may/Co...al_program_final.pdf

I would go to this in a heart beat. But it's too far from Central Maine.

I also see that Andy Hankins is speaking on Fri and Sat.

Topics; Ginseng, Goldenseal and Mushrooms.

I consider Persons, Beyfuss and Hankins, all three to be top experts in growing Wild-Simulated Ginseng.

It would be time well spent.

It sounds like a great event, and I'm really looking forward to meeting them. Thanks for the reminder that Andy Hankins is speaking too. I saw that and then forgot to mention it. I'll try and make an effort to post whatever I learn!
