Almost looks like a plant growing up out of the middle of a hollow mushroom stem. What time of year was this pic taken?

I have seen ice form similar to that in winter aroud the bottom of small plants.... but now this is August so no doubt it's not ice.

Odd looking for sure.

Could be an alien, the blob, who knows ?

K_duce, I've seen this before. I think it's a sticky substance spun by a predator to catch insects.
